You have the power to save on your utility bills and benefit the environment! Saving energy doesn't have to be expensive or time-consuming. Check out the news link for energy saving tips featured in the "Conservation Corner" column of our monthly newsletter "KEA Newsline." You'll find handy tips like this:

"Fuel up" on enery efficienty. It's as easy as reaching for the off switch on appliances, lights and electronic devices when they are not in use. Better yet, plug these devices into a power strip with an on/off switch. In the average home, 75% of the electricity used to power home electronics is consumed while the products are turned off.

Did you know that the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) has programs to help Alaskans reduce energy bills on their homes? Their Home Energy Rebate Program provides rebates of up to $10,000 for improving the energy efficiency of your home.
