Since 1941, KEA has generated and distributed power to the City of Kodiak and surrounding areas including the U.S. Coast Guard Base, Chiniak, Pasagshak, and Port Lions.

In 2007, KEA’s system reliability was an outstanding 99.992%! The average member was out of power less than 43 minutes. This is a system record for us and even better than the national average.
